  4. ONE-TIME SETUP
  5. If you don't have a recent version of 16-bit QuickTime installed on
  6. your system, run "QTINSTAL.EXE". The 32-bit version of QuickTime will
  7. not work.
  8.  
  9. RUNNING VIRTUAL PHYSICS 2
  10. - Set your monitor to 640x480 resolution, in 16-bit or 24-bit color.
  11. - Run "VPHYS2.EXE".
  12.  
  13. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  14. Virtual Physics 2 requires a 75MHz or faster Pentium system running
  15. Windows 3.1, 95 or NT. You should have at least 12Mb RAM, as well as a
  16. 4X speed CD-ROM drive. You also need to have a graphics card that can
  17. display at least 16-bit color. Lastly, you need a sound card to hear
  18. the sounds, narration and music.

  20. TROUBLESHOOTING
  21. If Virtual Physics 2 runs unreliably, you might have to disable
  22. screen savers, virus checkers and other background tasks running on
  23. your system.

  25. NAVIGATING IN VIRTUAL REALITY
  26. When you are in the middle of a room or in a landscape, you can
  27. navigate in virtual reality: click and drag the mouse to spin around;
  28. use the "Shift" and "Ctrl" keys to zoom in and out; click on an object
  29. to go up to it.

  31. THE SELF-PROPELLED EVENT COMPUTER
  32. Your flying computer contains tutorials, problems, a glossary and many
  33. more functions. You can access these by clicking SPEC's various buttons.
